Here at Pierce Food Service Equipment Co. Inc. our customers' safety is very important.

SECURE SERVER

All personal information, credit card number included, is placed on a secure server using Secure Socket Layer (SSL). SSL takes the information and encrypts, or converts it into codes that only the server can recognize. This allows the information to travel safely over the internet, without others accessing it. A padlock or unbroken key at the bottom right-hand corner of your browser window indicates that your connection to the server is secured.

If you have doubts about our security measures, or if your browser does not support SSL you can always order from us via phone or fax.

USE OF COOKIES

A "cookie" is simply an identifier that is stored on your machine and can be deleted anytime. Pierce's Food Service Equipment site uses a "cookie" to help make your shopping experience easier. How? When browsing through the store you are assigned to a "cookie" that keeps record of the products being added to your shopping cart. It will also calculate the total, sales tax and shipping fee.

The "cookie" is only active for 60 minutes. When the time expires it will automatically be removed. We do not use the "cookie" for any other reason. We have no way of knowing who you are from it. The "cookie" is harmless.

Your Privacy

The information that Pierce Food Service Equipment Co. Inc. receives will only be used by us, for your order. Once your order is completed, we save your paperwork in our files. We will keep your paperwork in our files only, in case we need to contact you again in the future. We do not give away your e-mail addresses or other personal information, and we do not re-sell any information to third parties.
